Accessibility statement

I want everyone who visits this website to be able to find what they need and get in touch easily, whatever their needs. This statement explains how accessible the site is, where it may fall short, and how to tell me if you have any difficulty.

It covers www.conflict-resolution.co.uk, run by Conflict Resolution Ltd.

How Accessible This Website Is

I aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard widely used in the UK.

The site has been designed so that you should be able to:

zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen
use the site on a phone or tablet as well as a computer
move around the site using a keyboard
use the site with a screen reader
read text that contrasts clearly with its background

The website is built on Wix, which provides many of these features as standard.

Known Limitations

I know of the following limitations and am working to address them where I can:

Background video: the video at the top of the home page plays silently on a loop, and you can stop it with its pause button. It is decorative and does not carry any information that is not also given in text.
Booking and webinar pages: calls are booked through Microsoft Bookings and webinars run on Microsoft Teams. These are run by Microsoft and have their own accessibility features, which I do not control.
Testing: I have checked the site myself, but it has not yet been independently tested against WCAG 2.2. I will update this statement when it has.
